A1 Steak Sauce

At long last, it had all gone!
It says "The Best Before 21 FEB., 2012", but it still have been tasted good for not only meat things. Using this for caesar salad worked fine.

At the first time I used that at a steak house, it felt like the taste was rust of iron. So it was a little bit weird and it was so new for my tongue.
After a few years, I really wanted to taste it, but it was not in Japan. At that time, my aunt lives in U.S. have asked me "what do you want for the souvenir?" for visiting her hometown in Japan. "A1 steak sauce!" - I answered it right. Then, I heard my uncle went to the store just for getting it. It sounded I could hear his saying "yyyep!". Still.

This one on the photo is the second one. Maybe after almost ten years, aunt had taken me and some relations to the commissary in a U.S. air base in Japan. I bought a lot of stuffs like IBC root beer, Neco's candy, Red Cinamon ball, Irish Springs and A1 and and so on.

The label of "A1" make the memories for these more than twenty years condense, and the long time comes to my mind at the moment.

There were a birds' nest on a tree between the buildings. Less wind and less enemies, looks comfortable over there.

Cold Wind

In these days, it was warmer for middle of January. It is the coldest day in this winter today. Cold wind flew stronger from the north and hailstones were fallen for a while.
Maybe the water in the air was frozen, and it looked like clouds defused the lights of the sun in the west lighted all the sky.

Twigs

Today is called "Dai-Kan" which is the coldest day on a calender. But it is not so cold in these days. Twigs reflected on the water looked slightly pink. It seemed the tree is preparing to blossom out.

It Looks Like Snow

It was so cold morning. Weather report said, "it might be snow in sourthern area of Tokyo." As the report said, it was snow just a little bit. The first snow in this winter in Kanto plain. Cloudy day for a long time.

Soft Skyline

Mountain ranges had snow slightly and they looked near than usual. It looked like the air was warmer and humidity a little bit, but it was cold even so.
It sounds like looking a scenary over the window when having a cup of coffee served with a thick white pottery cup on an old deep brown wooden table lightened by only some warm tones' bulbes at a warm and a little moist coffee shop in the morning or in the evening lights.

One Cold Sunshine

Long shadows, sun shines through the narrow space of the buildings and sharp thin color of the sunshine. These elements reminds me a cold morning in Chicago.

A Bridge

Its rails used to use as a cargo line to transport limestones. Now it's used for passenger Ome-sen line. Ome-sen line has two ways for the next station "Nishi-Tachikawa." One is for local, another is for Rapid runs straight to Tokyo-eki station not stop at Tachikawa. And this point is the Rapid trains' overpass Chuo-sen line.
Maybe, those limestones are now in the city of Tokyo as buildings, roads and so on as concrete. Kind of a historical one in this town.

From a Bridge

   Cold.
This camera is not good at higher ISO over 640. Needs tripods at night, but the bridges are not steady like ground. Humm... how.

Storages

These small strorages are for portable shrines to carry in summer festival. Also ShiShiMai masks are in there. (ShiShi-Mai: a dance performed in a lion's mask ;by Mac OSX dictionary) Some says the masks are used for a hundred years repairing little by little.

Clouds Carried Cold

   Interesting lights.
This unusual colors of sky which appears for just 1-2 hours and the most in Spring sounded mystical time especially for people in old time.
This kind of sky called foxes' wedding day. Fox is an image of an existance which works for god. So fox is kind of special animal and people think fox has their own special world.
In Japan, god is not one. God for agriculture, art, health and successes for buisiness, life, exams and so on. In Buddhism, Dainichi-Nyorai is the most in the world of gods and other gods help it and guard people who believe and behave in harmony as Buddha had told.
Foxes' wedding called "Kitsune-no-Yomeiri". Some people say, "it's about the colors of sky in Spring." Some people say,"it's about rainy in fine sky and the colors of sky at the time of it like that in Spring." Fox was a popular animal for a long time ago in Japan. And it's say fox sometimes tricks man. Such a popular and mysterious animal leads some special images for people. Foxes' wedding day is maybe one of them.
