　　　A Table, a chair and a socket in a room of a cafe. Gentle lights of a rainy day were comming from a window. Many things made this space right here. This place which is called "American House" was used to be a house for troops of U.S. Most of all might be made at the time of W.W.2. The base in this town operated also when the Korean War and Vietnum War. Of course, there were lots of residentials in the base, and also lots of residentials for U.S. troops in the off base. Before so long, most of the houses were handed over to ordinary Japanese civilians. So, they are so old. But these houses, which give a sense of the American lifestyle, still attract many Japanese people. This cafe that has been renovated is a one of them. It is able to see the quite different lights from Japanese houses inside. It may heals something just a little. (at a cafe D-13 in Fussa, Tokyo)
